called back a american woman said it was Rexel Electrical Holdings. Claims someone "got hold of their number" and there's "nothing they can do about it"

Very helpful scammer. Told us they were from Windows and that we had to follow the usual steps (give access and so on) but when we said we only have macs they said sorry this didn't apply to you.
3 minutes later we got another call from the same CLI saying they were from Apple Mac! I don't know what he was going to get me to do because he hung up as I started laughing.

Unsolicited call, foreign accent, claiming to be from Microsoft ringing about "the computer".
