How do I know? Because of report above from last Friday proves it.
It is unbelievable that an advanced country with an alliance with the USA cannot simply disable scammers ability to (a) scam us and (b) steal another persons legitimate number. But what is most unforgivable is that for every online purchase you make or OS call centre you interact with, or any dodgy ISP you use, shares all your personal data. My experience with iinet and telstras OS call centres sees us bombarded shortly after interactions, via email ,landline and mobile.
ebay is also filled with sellers who abuse the privilege of interacting with you. I think it is time the ACCC stepped into all of this and made all OS call centre staff be AFP police checked or the ISPs etc bring the call centre home.transactions on ebay should be policed and if possible buyers details encrypted.

089 is West Australian number so I ignored it .
Could be health survey ? It has been in the past.

So there is another new player in town. It's about time something was done about these people. Rang me twice in 3 minutes and did not leave a message.
