Answered to an Aussie sounding female claiming to be from Next Steps Australia looking for donations for domestic violence victims, after a minute of her talking I could tell it was a recording and I hung up, I might of considered helping if I was speaking to a real person. Blocked.

Scammers disobeying call register laws.And infantile inability to use a simple answering machine.The govt should close down the do not call register and save the money for aged care.Such is the useless white elephant. It has never worked.We get more BS calls now than we did when we signed up years and years ago.

Just block the number.

I am so very, very sick of these bottom-feeding pests. My blocked number list is full so I keep having to delete one of these scammers' numbers so that I can add the next one.
I actually picked up the phone this time, though I didn't intend to speak - I never answer these calls. There was silence at the other end before they hung up. I kept the line open for the next hour, though, hoping that they wouldn't be able to use the number to make their scamming calls during that time. I've no idea whether that works for these scum-suckers' robot calls, but the thought that it might made me feel better.
People, please don't answer calls from these pests or the plague will never end.

Every afternoon around 5ish same number. answer they hang up. Rang number back no reply, tells me they will be in contact and yet everyday they hang up, infuriating as we are a business..

Gosh...you almost make me want to answer the call...just so I can ask some questions and hear the response. I have a long list of numbers I've added to my "DO NOT ANSWER SCAM" I've saved in my phone contacts.

This is one of several numbers from the same apparent calling source with the same calling pattern and timing who never leaves a message then repeats the pattern using another similar number a few times more - before changing it again.

I think this lady is just a telemarketer for a number of charity calls. As I now recognise her voice she has called here so many times. So I just say hello and then no thank you after she asks "I hope you are well" - she uses that phrase every time. I wish I could stop them calling, as I don't listen and therefore don't donate either.

Cal received from this no. claiming to be representing one of Aus's leadin charities... rang back in 5 mins as verification, an older male Aussie voice on an answ machine claiming thx for calling back one of Aus's leading charities.... can't take your call right now...we'll call you back".....this sounds like a sophisticated Tele-Scam using sophisticated answer filtering software.....

this string & record of all other numbers claiming same should be sent to ASIC / Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman as Complaints ................the enormous rise in SCAM CALLS ws recently raised in media.....

The call is a regular bases , no message and sometimes stay on line to see if you answer the call, all phone calls are answered by answering machine. another scam
