Similar fake SMS--came from mobile number 0470 317 535. Claimed "You Paid $1699.00 against Lenovo Intel core i9 Touch Laptop at AMZ on 13th May 2021. Order-id#210-ZX255-0191 Give us a call on (08) 9468 9796 if not you." How can we get the mobile carrier to suspend this number? Also, has anyone contacted the AFP about these fraudsters?

I hadn’t ordered a laptop. I phoned them from a private number and they answered thank you for calling Amazon, I told them to stop trying to scam people. They hung up really quickly.

Text saying I bought a pricey Canon camera and if not, call this number. Complete bollocks. Do not reply - it's a scam.

It is a lot scams specifically these days. I really don’t know why the government (I mean any one who is responsible) doesn’t care!

In this month, I have heard different kinds of scams. One took out $7000 and the other case $4000 from my friends accounts. Those scam teams were very professional 😤. And one of them was from out of Australia. From beeeep🤐 country.

The police said yes they are professional 🙄... seriously 😒...!!!??? That is it!!! We are leaving in this country and paying tax for what!!!???
It is really annoying and irritating. Hope it will be solved soon.
