Caller: Someone saying he was from optus Scam !!Asking if my internet was ok and am l with Optus l said there is no problem and he hung up .not sure what he was up to

Caller: Someone pretending to be a Telstra representative This is a very elaborate scam from a "representative" of Telstra who knew all about my case and his line was that, as an appreciation for my patience in not having my problems fixed - of which we've had many, offered me a year's discount. He sounded SO legit and unfortunately, because we HAVE been having a lot of Telstra issues, believed him as he knew all about them. My bank representative said it is impossible to tell who is a real Telstra person and never engage with anyone who rings you and says they're from Telstra.
