A prank caller/scammer trying to tell me there was some sort of warrant out for my supposed fraud. The operator I reached wanted to know my name and phone number which I thought was odd as I thought the number would have come up anyway. The accent of the lady I spoke to sounded Chinese (rather than Filipino or Indian).
I ended the call at this point.

Left a recorded message that a summons has been issued from the tax department for tax fraud. I know this to be fake as the ATO will contact me via different avenues, not the phone.

Obviously a scam but stating that an arrest warrant had been issued for tax evasion and fraud. BEWARE!!!!!!
