Got the same robot call on my voicemail. Rang the number back, got a guy with Indian accent, gave him an angry mouthful threatening action of my own, if he ever rang my number again, then hung up before he could reply. :)

ATO Scam - re warrant out for my arrest

just got the same robot call from "ATO" , arrest warrant bulls**t. waited until the end to let them know my thoughts but just gave me (08) 9467 7866 to ring, not worth the effort calling.

Had the same thing. Threat of arrest, call back. Obivously a hoax. The ATO makes much more polite efforts to contact you before it gets to anything like this.

Recorded message voicemail on phone saying from ATO. Definitely a scam. Tried to call back no answer...

Recorded voice claiming you owe money to the ATO and there is a warrant for your arrest. This is a step up from the scam last year where a person would call claiming the same nonsense. ATO never call they send letters as it takes up to much time and would verify your identity before reveal any such information.
