Robotic voice saying that they have tried to contact me and said something about Australian Tax Office. Sounds like a scam to me

Robotic voice advising that I have overdue tax returns and as the ATO cannot get in touch with me it has been passed onto debt collectors. I don’t think so!

Robotic voice. Claims to be a ‘Department ‘ (not identified). Claims to have attempted to contact previously. Claimed that as there was no response, the ‘Department’ has considered the lack of response deliberate fraud and has filed a law suit. Requested a call back.

Treated as a scam and reported...

left voicemail saying lawsuit has been filed. Rang back asked who they were.
Clearly a call centre - accent.
Lady asked for my name, I asked what it's about... she called me stupid then hung up.
I rang back again, different lady. Same accent... I asked what their company was, said something about Australian Tax Office. Muttered some irritated comments then hung up.
scam. blocked.
