Didn't answer and got a voicemail saying I should call back otherwise I'll get a warrant. 😂

Caller: someone posing as an ATO officer

ATO Scam - she said ‘something’ Department Australian Taxation Office to advise they were filing a lawsuit against me that as soon as the message had played through to call the number - (08) 9467 5923 back otherwise they would issue a warrant against me and “get me arrested”

SCAM - An automated “robot” voice saying that they are from the ATO and that there is a lawsuit being filed against you. I checked with a relative who works for the gov and have confirmed that this is a scam attempt

Tax scam - Do Not Call. But number that came up on my phone was: 061894674384. No tracing that!

Recorded message told me to call the (08) number

Caller: Saying they are the ATO

Called them back after they left a random message
Dodgy ATO Call
When I said I had a business number they hung up on me
Definitely dodgy!

T%ax Scam

A guy said from tax office and said a lot of file related to me. I have to call back otherwise I will be arrested.. how can it come from a record voice by telling such an important message on Melbourne cup public holiday.

told me to call them back or an arrest warrant would be issued.
Tried calling but number busy.
very suss as i am an ex police officer and this is not normal Police behaviour..

Had a computer generated voicemail asking me to call back or I will be arrested hahaha SCAM

This is the message received- no name to ID who the caller is and company:

You missed a call from (08) 9467 4384, who said "Is that there is a loss(?) to getting filed under your name. The moment you receive this message I want you to get back to me on my department division no. is 089."

Recorded message. Said there was an arrest warrant in my name, but didn’t name me. Requested that I ring back. East coast American accent.

scammer I got a message from the same number.

Called back. Asked what departme t he was from. He said government. Couldnt understand them. He talked over top of me. Believe it was a scam.

Left a message that I was about to be arrested and to return the call. I guess they would have asked for my payment details next.
