Saying they were from tax department. Said I had a debt and would go to jail if it wasn’t paid. Hung up and verified with ATO it was a scam.

Threats to put me in jail for with immediate issue of warrant for arrest to be issued (by ATO) . Rang back - to se what the game was but they were not organised enough to explain except say I will be in jail for 5 years.l Surely no one will take them seriously

Didn't answer and left voicemail in robot american voice telling me to get back to them or they will issue an arrest warrant and get me arrested lol

threatening arrest. Called back and was a lady whom i couldnt understand her accent. Said she was an officer but sounded extremely dodgey. never actually called, sent an digital message to the voicemail making you call back. This is a scam
