Called today (19 April 2017) from gentleman with Indian accent. His company was called "Excellent Claims Management". Claimed my vehicle had just been involved in an accident - despite being able to see it through the window with no damage. Lots of background noise, so no doubt his colleagues were all busy trying to scam people too.

Called my silent number while I was out but did not leave a message!

Yep.....just another SCAM!

yes, did not identify caller i.d. so did not answer. I checked it on line later suspecting a scam. I don't get many calls on my private number and always know the numbers who are calling.

I've been getting this as well. Started 2 weeks ago

Immediately smelled scam so told them : " ok , can you just wait a moment please ? " , female scammer stayed on for all of 12 minutes before hanging up ! Please , someone tell me they are timed calls !

Received a call from these "people" today. We have a silent number. I believe they randomly dial numbers. However, after reading through comments l believe they may be hacking info from somewhere re mva's? Also, probably dialling from overseas via the internet to make it look like it is a local number.

Insurance scam got the same calls as above indian accent hung up when questions asked

Same as all of the above. Got a call to landline phone today from Indian accent make saying from accident investigation place. Asked if anyone in this house had an accident in the past 2 years even if not at fault. I've written the number down by the phone to make sure no one in this house falls for it!! Bastards...

I had the same call regarding an accident from this number. Very Indian accent. Scam, Scam, Scam....

I also have a silent number and received two calls this morning from the number from male with Indian accent saying he was from the Motor Accident Commission - I put the phone down. having read the other complaints i thought i would share - the more people who complain or report the better i think!

yep i had the same call from these guys, googled the number and the lawyers mentioned whilst keeping him on the phone. the website looks great LAWYERS, so yo can trust them.

My 91 year old mother received a phone call from this number "accident". As my mother is very hard of hearing she called me at work so I went to her place as she didn't know how to check the caller ID. On calling the number it rang two or three times, then went to a busy tone. I then decided to google the number and found these comments - as I thought! A scam! What made me upset was the fact that not only did I have to take time off work to go and check (my mother thought my father had had an accident) but the person is a dear old 91 year old lady with disabilities and symptoms of dementia!
