Caller: Said she was from master card security

I think it was a scam call

Caller: Scammer

Very unconvincing Indian call centre suggesting I had fraudulent transactions on my cc. Could give me no real details & clearly was following a script. I challenged all the comments & finally they gave up & hung up.

First part of the message was cut off but it said something about a deduction from my account. I don't have any accounts, so I think it was a scam

Hung up as soon as I answered

Scam said it was from master card and an unauthorised amount had been taken out I hung up .

I answered a call from this number. It was and Indian lady who claimed to be from Visa/Mastercard. She said there were two fraudulent transactions on my credit card from Amazon and eBay. Both of these I had not used. I also have my credit card through my bank and when I asked her which card she was referring to she just kept asking me if I wanted her to approve the transactions. I told her No then she was insistent on cancelling my credit card. It all sounded very fishy so I hung up and I gave her no information. She told a good story about protecting my security but as I had not used my credit card for over 18 months I was suspicious.
