Got a missed call from this number. Not going to call them back. However, I did sign up a new Bankwest account about 2 weeks ago so it may have something to do with that.

Got a legit call from BankWest from this number

I too got a call from this number.  Called them back and got automated greeting from BankWest - I hung up and then called the correct bankwest number to check on this - it is a scam number!

I got a call from the same number. Rang back, got a generic voice answering service. Picked "3" (General customer enquiry), it was a legit BankWest number but no-one could explain why I was receiving a call, there was nothing on any of my account info out of the ordinary or explaning the nature of the call and I was told to disregard it.Seedy...

I too got a missed call from this number. Then I found they emailed me saying they couldn't get a hold of me and answered my queries through the email.Number looks legit...as indicated in the email.

I got a call from this number from someone claiming to be from Bankwest. They wanted my security password. I told them that I didn't beleive that they were from the bank. They then gave me the real number of Bankwest, a fake name and fake extension number.After ringing the real bank phone number they confirmed that person doesn't exist in the bank and it was a scam call.

I called bankwest 9449 is a bankwest phone prefix *phew* call if you want on 131718 (bankwest general enquiry)
