Got a call from this no. which rang twice and stopped. If its legit (and I dont bank with Bankwest) why do they only let it ring twice. I see from comments above, i'm not the only one??

Update:
I called the Bank to report this and guess what? It was the Bank calling.
I suggested the Bank leave a message, or send a text or email saying, "Call Bankwest!"
I guess because we already know the Banks are thieves, it wasn't much of a stretch to think this was a possible scam! I actually thought they may of had a mischievous cleaner at head office.
Is this is how things are run, now they have been devoured by the Commonwealth Bank? Shame!
Funny... the Bank had called me because they thought my card had been scammed (but left no message) and I called the Bank because I thought the call was a scam.
Lucky I called because they had stopped my card and I didn't even know. Too bad if I filled my car with petrol at the BP and then my card didn't work and then the Pakistani guy (who used to be a Telemarket scammer) at the bullet proof window would think I was a petrol scammer.
So glad we got rid of cash under the mattress, this is waaaaaay better. Cough!
this is definitely bankwestthey called me because i was closing my accounts with them and they had to check details.it's all good. not a scamand bankwest is open 7days, not 5 or 6 like other banks

Just got a call from this number too. Didnt answer, have checked my accounts and all seem fine. I dont know why they dont just leave a message on the voicemail.
