Scam callers trying to goad people into logging in to a LogMeIn service to provide "support" for a "loss of your internet security".

An person asks for you to tell them the number of lights flashing on your router - shock! horror! you have a problem. Reset the router. Still the same? Oh dear!!! Connect your browser to www.support.me - a LogMeIn portal.

I didn't even bother to get the 6-digit access code from them. Doing so would open up your machine to a direct connection to them and untold harm.

And they're persistent buggers - I've had four calls from them today alone.

I have reported this number to Telstra and they have confirmed it is a scammer. Do not give them any information or access to your computer.

This number has called my house 3 times today and claims they are from Telstra and need to fix my concern with my IP address. Will be reporting to Telstra

Keeps ringing and no one there! Grrrr
