This concerns the Federal election . I am wondering if you may consider below information urgently and if possible please forward this more widely through your Northern Territory networks . Rosalie provides an alternative and new choice for the Territory, her group has very limited resources hence my request. I hope you do not mind and thank you “so much” for your goodwill.

ROSALIE KUNOTH-MONKS- Vote One (1) - for Senate (N.T.)

An Amatyere/ Arrente woman and community leader from Urapuntja /Utopia, central Australia.
“Inclusiveness - we believe that we are all on this journey together"
Rosalie Kunoth-Monks and Jeanie Gadambua A.F.N.P.P. candidates for the Senate. Eileen Cummings A.F.N.P.P. candidate for Solomon

Rosalie Kunoth-Monks, carried the report, Loss of Rights, to the Committee for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination at the UN in Geneva in 2010. Since that time she has visited areas in the N.T. Darwin, Canberra, South Australia, Melbourne and Sydney. Rosalie shared publicly her insights into the impacts of the Intervention on her people. She has concerns regarding the trauma that has been created and she has openly long called on Government to change its approach, to return control to the communities and to work in true partnership with A&TSIs.
At 76 Rosalie has decided to stand as a NT candidate for the Senate in an attempt to have the voice of the first nations peoples heard more widely in our democracy. She is standing under the umbrella of Australia’s First Political Party (A.F.N.P.P). Due to a registration error the latter initials will appear only on the voting/ballot paper.
There are several audio interviews with Rosalie, another about why Jeff McMullen is supporting her , Rosalie’s profile and material that can be accessed via below links.
I am helping Rosalie as a friend and volunteer, small parties have limited resources. Since August 28th there have been Air planes flying into remote N.T communities daily with the major party candidates and numerous paid helpers-they seem to have unlimited resources. This is also matter of equity. I am hoping you will take time to consider the material provided and, perhaps ,

a)Send this information on more widely through your N.T. contacts.
b) Perhaps consider printing copies of the attached poster and policies provided in links below and if able help place these around community surrounds / polling booths.
Thank you for anything you feel you are able to do.

Kind Regards
Georgina Gartland (Friend and supporter of Rosalie)

For those sympathetic to Rosalie’s policies all they need to do is to place number 1 above the line for Australia's First Nations Political Party which is shown on the ballot/voting card as A.F.N.P.P.

2. The Wire – Why Jeff McMullen backs First Nations candidate for the Senate - 28 August 201

Treaties and the future of the Stronger Futures legislation are issues that many Aboriginal people living in the Northern Territory are hoping the major parties will consider during this election period. Aboriginal Elder from Utopia, Rosalie Kunoth-Monks, who has campaigned fiercely against Stronger Futures and the Intervention, has decided to take matters into her own hands and is bidding for a seat in the Senate....
