Indian caller scam pretending to represent Telstra and they need to reset your Internet connection. If challenged they hang up. this no. called and said it was telstra technical services and there was a problem with our internet and asked me to turn it on so he could help fix it when i refused he said it would be disconnected - i didn't turn it on.
but called the no. back and was told it was invalid

phone yet again, had a few minutes to spare.... so I went through their spiel, just to hear what it was.
Really do people fall for this and give them remote access via team-viewer to fix their downloading speed?
He even gave me his Telstra employee number V620-73337.
After going through 2 extra senior technicians and hanging up, they called back again.... I said Go away.

Exact same has happened 7 times today before they switched it over to Private

Gave this lying thieving scamming ?$*%hole a mouthful yesterday and really upset him. Has called back again.
But when I dial the number, it is invalid.
How do they do this?

Had a call today from this number also claiming from telstra and I had a problem with my internet. Accent made it difficult to understand.

"Telstra", you have a virus scammers.

This number called my home phone but nobody spoke and then finally there was an automated voice that said "goodbye" and then it hung up.

Same old story, claimed to be from Telstra, threatened to shut me down, told him to go ahead, then he told ME to F@ck off, I consider this a victory to me.
