Got a call from this number.

I got 4 calls from this number up to now. On 2 different days they called 2 times; once in the morning and once late in the afternoon/evening.

I haven't answered them or called back and I wouldn't advice anyone to do so either. In my country (The Netherlands) numbers beginning with 088 are known te be dubious phone (high cost service-) numbers, often beloning to crimininal/non trustworthy organisations.

They randomly call hundreds of numbers to find out which are active, and they want you to call back. Once you do so you are confronted with high phone costs with no warning in advance. The minute rate kan exceed the 2.50 euro per minute. This is the way therse organisations make their money.

Write down when they call you, if you have serveral unwanted calls within the month your provider can (hopefully) block them for you.
