There is barely a day where we don't receive a call from this number.
When we still picked up the phone, there was never an answer. When we see the number we ignore it now.

If you own a fritz fone you can block calls from people like these I found the feature and have 2 pages of idiots who dont read the do not call register

To everyone who says they're charity call centre. The recorded name changes periodically on this phone number and it is always almost, but not quite, the official name of a charity. Scammers do not have the do not call register, and charities always come from their own individual numbers, not a lot using the same number. Block the number, it's a scam.

Received an unsolicited call from this number in regards to a disabled children's movie day and to sponsor a child to attend

I just got the same phone call. It seems unusual that an 08 number which is SA or NT calls on behalf of sending children to a movie in Gosford NSW....

Arthritis Society collecting money for sick kids. Was pleasant though.

If you have an iphone you can go to your call history go to the i symbol next to the number and choose "block this caller" that should work. I'm sure other phones will lhave the option as well.

I'm on the Do Not Call register, unfortunately it excludes charities (not for profit) and politics.

Arthritis Foundation bought my info from Data Solutions who bought it from Bit Data - seriously who can companies be allowed to sell your name, address & phone number!! Can't tslk to anyone at Bit Data ( Dunn and Bradstreet) send complaint email to pac.austral @ dnb.com.au. The voice of many may have something done about these sleezebags.

I, too, am on the “Do not call!” register. How are these calls still coming through? And they call right on dinner time, of course! Definitely not wanted!!

Said they were collecting for 'Children of the Disabled'. I am on disability and have children, and have never heard of this 'charity'.

I'm also on the no call register, but registered charities are exempt from this. They are allowed to call private numbers.... unfortunately.. .
