Caller: Kidsflix - Juvenile Arthritis This is a genuine charity. Twice a year they call raising money to take kids with juvenile arthritis to the movies. They do work in different states. You can look them up on Facebook under Juvenile Arthritis Victoria, although I think the above call comes in from South Australia - but they raise money to take kids Australia wide to the movies as a break from their often restricted lives. On their Fb website it says "if you require further information: Email: kidsflix @ arthritissa.org.au Phone: (08) 8423 0949"

Caller: Arthritis Foundations This caller is from the Arthritis Foundation and they are raising money for kids with arthritis. They take the kids and sometimes their family to the cinema. The movie is just for them and they are able to fit the wheelchairs in. I donate every year and it is claimable on your tax.

This scammer has called me 6 times today so far. I blocked their number and immediately they used a different number. I am on the Do Not Call register.

Caller: Arthritis Foundation These are genuine calls, however, they're nuanced calls. Hence why people report them here. This site isn't specifically for complaints, it's so people can find out who is calling them.

Caller: A criminal organisation masquerading as a charity. Calls as a different charity each time in a vain and hopeless attempt to get your credit card details to be used fraudulently at a later date. Talk to them at your own peril.

The organisation is genuine. Ask for them to send an email or letter. Never donate via credit card over phone. Phone number does not match the contact number on their website. Probably a contract call center Always wary of fake callers pretending to be from some legit charity or another.

I totally understand they're genuine, however, calling me 3 times in 1 week... This is becoming a nuance call.
