Caller: Claims asking if I had a car accident in the last 12 months as they can help out

Scam call to get bank details and other private information , said I’d been hit by a car

I received a call for CTP claim and was provided the details about having an accident in 12 months. I accidentally said it's over 12 months and then the caller tricked by saying claim can be logged in 18 months. I asked about the email address caller provided some gmail I told the caller this is scam then caller continued with business address and ABN. Caller didn't knew who can lodge the claim no fault or at fault. How much compensation they could get. I was provided with the above number as a return call. I am getting it's a scam.

Similar to other complainants, looking to offer help for compensation from a car accident - I haven't had one. Definite scam.

person telling me I had an accident in a car in last 12 months. asking if I remember and how she can help. I tried to keep a conversation going and she was just building to scam me.

Claims that I was involved in a car accident recently…. But, I don’t even drive or have a car LOL

Said was from claims dept about a traffic accident I had in the past 12 months. I stated I think you’ve made a mistake and they switched tack to maybe someone in my family. I said this is a scam call and she said no no it’s about compensation. I said no one has had an accident. I terminated call.
