It's not a scam, it's AGL, payment over due. First time i received call I looked on here as my phone recommended unsafe caller, I read reviews, blocked number, then to find out my AGL was over due, I called them immediately, no hassles and all fixed.

Wasn’t important enough to leave me a message, so I blocked the number.

Rang twice. First time made stupid zombie sounds, second time kept saying hello like a robot. Young male. Pranking.

Some here saying it's AGL but if it is, why would they not leave a message? I my bill is overdue (it isn't) they could support this by sending an email or text as they have both contacts for me. I also have a totally different number for AGL accounts so Scam/robocall until proven otherwise.

called female saying they are from AGL energy provider then hangs up phone.

Claimed to be AGL but rude and demanding. Told me (didn't ask) that call would be recorded. I declined to be recorded she hung up. If this is really AGL they should be ashamed for hiring and allowing these rude call centre staff.

A woman called from this number claiming to be from AGL, said the call was being recorded for training purposes. She called me by my first name and asked me to verify my last name and date of birth. I declined and she said quite bluntly I would have to call AGL myself. Don’t know if it was a scammer or not.

Young woman called twice and mentioned they are calling from AGL and ask me to confirm my identity by telling them my last name and date of birth? I was like no no, you called me! Then she mentioned I know exactly why they are calling. Question mark in my head...what are you talking about??

Got a miss call..and a message was left and they're speaking Filipino language, nerding in the background. They were saying "Hi Paul, your food is ready"..🤣🤣🤣.

Possibly AGL. But I’ve sorted out my billing stuff online but has called me 3x in an hour!!!!!

Received text messages of missed call from this number. Called back on private number and a woman answered casually saying "hello?" to which I asked with whom I was speaking to. She clicked into what appeared to be a 'scripted sales mode" and claimed to be from AGL and letting me know it was a courtesy call and I was eligible for a discount plan - I refused to give my details and she was polite enough saying I could enquire further via AGL website. Not sure if scam or not but it definitely seemed fishy. Do not trust this number.

Rang 3 times within 4 hours but didn't say anything until the last call. Claimed to be AGL offering a better deal but pretty sure it was a third party as they rang my phone looking for my husband.

Called claiming to be AGL, but definitely felt like a scam. They knew my name and suburb which they offered up to me. Said they were calling about the rate increase and we were eligible for a lower rate, or something along those lines. I said as we have recently sold our house we will be cutting off the power soon anyway. They just hung up on me, which tells you it is a scam, because as soon as they realise they don’t have you on the hook they cut and go. But, they have obviously got some personal information from somewhere. Also, as some others have said, I did get a call from them right before, and no one spoke. When I hung up they called back again.

3 missed calls in 2 days, no message, no ring! Called back, AGL seemed legit, no record of any calls, warned me not to give any info if they call again.

It's AGL following up overdue bills. It is pretty normal to not leave a message.
