Caller had an indian accent and my immediate thought was a scam. Said i was involved in an car accident and i dont even have a car lol

(08) 8261 2019 Called at 7:30 pm. When I tried to return the call it said the mobile number I dialled has been disconnected

Caller: “Australian Injury”

A woman said “Hello ma’am. I’m calling from Australian Injury [something]. You had a car accident some time ago.”

I said, “This is a scam. Goodbye.” Then I hung up. I’ve never been in a car accident.

i did the same thing, said it was disconnected

Claimed I’d been in an accident when I hadn’t. Hung up when I corrected himself scammer

Claimed to be from "CTP Insurance" (there is no company called CTP Insurance) and knew I had been involved in an accident.

Quite convincing scam, I called my insurer and they had no idea how they would've gotten my details.

I hope they can shut down this number.

Rings repeatedly during the day, no message. If I ring back it says number disconnected.

Regularly calling and not leaving a message. Assume it is a scammer. Also getting similar calls from (08) 8261 2018.

annoying and persistant. Same number comes up as in different states. ( Vic , SA & Qld so far! its a landline!) DONT ANSWER

I keep receiving calls from this number but when I called it back it said the number was disconnected??!!

Caller: Someone saying i had a car accident

Came up as fraud

this number rang yesterday, left no message and rang twice today, again left no message.

For the past two days this number has called me and I haven't answered it. When I call back it just hangs up

He said he was ringing to confirm that I was in a car accident. I said no and hung up

Answered late no one answered

Could not understand them, did not know number, hung up, then blocked number.

They told me that I was involved in a car accident and that they need my details.
Scam written all over it.

Caller: asian accent called himself Sean

wanted to talk to me about a car accident he claimed I had ( but I didn't )

I didn't speak when answering the phone ...caller hung up. Number was a too closely matched to (07) 3261 2019, a scammer from Bald Hills in Qld.
