Asked for my name, i confirmed, then cut off the call, indian accent

Call came in today 20th Jan 2026. I never answered the call as it was a number not on my contact list. Caller did not leave a message. So I looked up the number on this site - thanks to all for your prior feedback in relation to this number. It tells me that it was very likely a scam call and would have wasted my time has I picked up the call.

They called me- phone number from Adelaide I live in Brisbane. Didn’t pick up but definetly spam

never answer a call from number I don't recognise if its important the caller would leave a message so treat all calls like this as spam

Called back and person answered I said I had a missed call and they responded with "I'm from mobile phone company" I said "ohh I'm not interested" and hung up.

Caller: Something about phones

Offered me a free phone, or a free laptop or free computer etc...
Sounded like the Me Love you long time woman in Full Metal Jacket!

Unknown caller probably a scam

Scam call from Adelaide give away free phones. Said i wasnt interested then asked if i wanted a free vaccum so I hung up.

Calls and doesn't leave a message. Assume its Scam

Call from Adelaide, I love in Queensland so I didn't pick up. They left a voice message that was just waiting room music, most likely a scammer of some sort

offering free phones- scammers

Didn't answer, no vm left. Scam

offered me smart phone for free, some smart mobile phone - hung up in less than 1 minute chat. I called back, they told me it was wrongly dialled number
