They called me today to confirm details for a new Honda car that we have recently purchased. They did not conduct a survey, just confirmed rego number, address, phone number, email etc. They had all of the details already.

Got a missed call from this number - called back and same as above saying They were calling me for an offer or promotion. ANNOYING

Assuming from the other comments that my number has been added through Kmart Tyre and Auto. Did not answer the call.

Same as above; nil known about why they have my work mobile number; pathetic really. Perhaps some of the companies mentioned above need to be proactive about their customers and stop using these idiotic people.

Received a "follow-up" on my recent car purchase, but the call didn't feel genuine.
I was a little concerned that the caller (number doesn't track back to the company I bought from) knew my car registration number.

I received a call from this number and it was a survey from KMART, following my car being servicing there. This is probably a number used by a survey company, and they work on behalf of a all range of clients.

Got this call today? Rang them back, they say they are a call centre calling about some business inquiry, if you have missed their call, don't worry, wasn't important. one word SPAM>

It's another company that mitsubishi use to do the survey. The sales guy told me to expect a call from a survey company and said he'd appreciate good feedback, it was important to him. Looks like the survey company is doing a dodgy on mitsubishi and others and not going through with the surveys, just billing them and most likely making up results. K-Mart, Mitsubishi etc, should stop using this dodgy company it's bad for your reputation.

I just got a blank call from them then reported them to the do not call register. I did have a car in at K Mart last month too... I never call people back (unless it's my mum) but it's inconvenient and annoying.

hadthis number just ring. when i answered it hung up. called back and got the samee message as described above

As an Inspector for the ACMA (WE OPERATE THE DO NOT CALL REGISTER) i called 1300 72 50 80 and spelt out their requirements under the code and strongly suggested they comply within 30 days otherwise it may be taken further. I don't mind going to court...again :)

Apparently sometimes their system fails to connect you to a survey recording so it keeps calling back

They called me (after being given my number from K-Mart Tyre and Auto) to ask how my service went and then to offer me discounts to services etc. Completely unsolicited. I phoned K-Mart T&A and asked them to have my number removed.

DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER ALL IT IS IS A MONEY MAKING CALL. They say we have called you as you would have had a queary about a service or a promotional offer then they apologise say goodbuy and hang up.

This is an independant survery group employed by a number of companies to get feedback on recent transactions/services. I had my car serviced at K-Mart, and the other comments in this thread seem to fit this suggestion.

I got a call from this number - but I missed it. I called them back and got a message indicating they contacted me because I had contacted them requesting some sort of business enquiry, the voice on the message was very fast and sounded like a chipmunk - I have not requested any business connections to my knowledge. I'll be checking my phone bill very carefully this month.
