Caller: Supposedly canon printer suuport

I was trying to set up my canon printer and it wasn't working. A help box at the bottom popped up asking what my problem was. They then asked for my phone number for technician to call me. He did and didn't tell me he was getting into my computer, just asked for the letters and password that came up. he advised that the reason was that my drivers in my computer were crashing and he could fix this. I told him I would get my computer technician. he became very pushy and I turned my computer off and terminated the call.
