Person representing as a member of Accident Investigation Branch of South Australia Police.
Offering monetary reward or compensation for information re: a motor vehicle accident in the last two years. Refused to give date of accident, refused to give details of any vehicle registration number. Gave name as Jack Williams, but accent definitely Indian. Refused to provide proof of identity or South Australia Police officer number. Told person I would not listen any further and that he had not satisfied me that he (the person) was/is a member of South Australia Police. I terminated the call. I suspect this call was/is the usual scam seeking witness to fictitious motor vehicle accidents.
