Caller: Bank impersonator

Impersonating "Fraud Prevention Department" from my bank. Barrage of calls from this number after an attempted transaction, no voicemails, likely trying to coax me to give up extra personal information to gain access to my bank.

Block and report this number, and call your bank using the number listed on their website instead.

Caller: Someone pretending to be from my bank's fraud prevention department

Received a call saying they were from my bank, and that they had blocked a fraudulent transaction. Asked for personal details including address, DOB and full name etc. I was quite worried about the scam they were talking about and agreed for them to cancel my card (which never happened because they aren't from my bank). They said someone had tried to purchase something in Sydney where I wasn't based. Be wary, bank advised it's a scam call.
