Caller: Scammer

Claimed they were from the ATO and that I had been audited and was seen to be evading my taxes, that registered mail had been issued and returned unsigned, a warrant had been issued for my arrest and that the matter was time sensitive.
Dialled one in response to prompts. Heard office noises for 1 second and then phone hung up.

I did not answer but a message was left. I could not understand half of it but apparently I am going to be arrested if I do not call them back in a timely fashion.

Claimed to be from Telstra and that my internet access (which I don't have) would be cancelled. Hung up and blocked number.

Caller: Gave the name David Prout, ATO Criminal Fraud Department

The initial call was a machine, when I picked up it gave me options and I selected the relevant option. The caller said he was from the ATO Criminal Fraud Department and that I had been audited, was seen to be evading my taxes, that registered mail had been issued and returned unsigned, a case had been filed with the South Australian Supreme court with a warrant was being prepared to be issued for my arrest. He even had an amount that I owed the ATO... it was close enough for it to sound real.

At the time I was in the hospital, receiving treatment for a chronic health condition. He would not provide me with a number to call him back, insisting that if I hung up or lost the call that the warrant would be activated immediately. After going through the process with him, and becoming physically stressed out a nurse needed my attention in order to end the call for my health.

I ended up calling the ATO who confirmed that no one from their office had called me. I reported the call with them (my phone had logged the number he called on).

or give us a call back on the same number - this issue is very 'time sensitive' ..

Called back and get another generic voice saying you have 'missed the person you are calling and to leave a message for a callback'...

ummm how bout nooo mate...

Claimed to be ato, as if, I just hung up.

ATO scam here too

Female Robo voice claimed to be from ATO. I hung up immediately as I know it's fake. ATO doesn't do robocalls.

Same as the below messages, robot call telling me I'm about to be arrested.

Scam - claim to be from ATO - some Indian dude

Got the exact same message, scammer left an automated message claiming they were the ATO

ATO scam. Do not answer and do not engage

I also missed a call from this number. Robotic automated message left on my voicemail - same message as above:

I called the number and a person answered the call. Advised it was a Tax Crime Investigation unit and provided an ID number. It sounded like he was in a call centre. Then he said he could not hear me and hung up.

Caller: Scam ATO robot voice

Claimed they were from the ATO and that I had been audited and was seen to be evading my taxes, that registered mail had been issued and returned unsigned, a warrant had been issued for my arrest and that the matter was time sensitive.

SCAM - Robo voice - starts halfway through the message now as doesn't identify who they are....just that issuing warrant, registered mail returned, arrest etc.

Robot voice, said it was ATO, said i had not filed something, said issue was time sensitive and i should call them back, mentioned something about warrant

Automated scam call. Didnt answer, left for voicemail. Claimed to be ATO.

Tax spam call.

I had a voice message call explaining that I was going to be arrested for having un- paid taxes. They wanted me to pay $5690 and if I was to pay 50% or 25% of the debt they would extend the warrant so I was not thrown in jail...The ATO have to act on these people because people will be fooled....and pay...THIS IS MAJOR SCAM.
