Caller: Political Surveys(Robo Call) Always around election time you will get these SPAM calls, it is not a scam, just political parties trying to learn who and why you will vote. If its a scam someone will be on the line trying to get personal info from you....Everyone needs to lear the difference between SPAM and SCAM, spam is usually some form of marketing, scam is when someone is trying to con you out of something generally money. Best advise and it has worked for me, I never answer an unknown number, generally legitimate callers will leave a message, otherwise they dont really want to reach you.

Caller: Political Survey Called today 19/2/22. According to my list also called on 1/12/21. Amazing thing is that a quick analysis of the calling number shows that it is listed (by ACMA) as belonging to the rural area of Hallett in SA, an area of vacant paddocks and wind turbines (and not much else) 200Km north of Adelaide. Very definitely no call centres! Pure scam number. Don't answer!

I now recognise the number from Maitland. They do surveys wanting to know who you will vote for at next election and a couple of other questions. I now answer these calls because I like to give my feedback. Surveys go for around 5 minutes.

Caller: Political Grifters Person claiming to want to know which way I was leaning for the upcoming "Voice Referendum" Which person reminded me was mandatory. I informed person that I never bother to vote, as there is nothing or nobody worthwhile to vote for, especially apartheid in this case, which is what it is. I also told person that I by some strange turn of events I did actually vote in the referendum, I would vote NO. Person hung up on me.
