Caller: APIA Insurance

i called it back from a different number - Apia Insurance

They called stating they were from APIA. Knew my name and insurance details. Wanting to know if i was going ahead with a coverage I'd requested. Caller was ok with my response that the policy would be payed when due. They did not ask for any personal details. Suspect it may be genuine but who knows.

Apparantly from ADL. Was blocked by my Mobile phone Telstra. SUSPECTED SPAM

i did not answer as i do not know anyone in Adelaide and they did not leave a message. probably scam

Caller: Male caller

This call came from a representative of APIA Insurance. They are genuine as far as I can tell, probably a contractor working from home.

Definately a scam. I called the number and spoke to APIA and they said they didn't call me although I have Insurance with them. They also stated that APIA would always leave a message and they call from Brisbane and they don't have any marketing agencies working for them.
