Got a call from this number saying they were the security section for Visa & Mastercard & named a payment to Amazon of $14.99 & a $700 transfer to US through Wetsern Union. They said to click on '1' to get more information. Yeah sure!

No message was left

Phone blocked this call, but got a voice message. Message as in a robotic voice that was speaking in a Chinese language. In English they started of saying click 2 then straight to Chinese.

SCAM. Block.

I never answer numbers i don't know, said was from Adelaide and don't know anyone in Adelaide

How scammers get Australia’s phone numbers displayed… Government should have a restricted access of phone numbers or chase up who requested such sam numbers !

Like the others it was about visa security. I hung up as soon as they mentioned the word visa security

Security from Visa and Mastercard! Querying my $700 transfer to China and $14.99 payment to Amazon from my Visa card! Very hard to understand the Indian accent so I told him I’d call my bank direct - he didn’t like that! I didn’t have the heart to tell him I don’t have a Visa card! 😂😂

I had a call from this number with a recorded message exactly the same as others, saying they were the security section for Visa & Mastercard saying there was a payment to Amazon of $14.99 & a $700 transfer to US through Western Union. They said to click on 1 if I made the payments or 2 for more information. So clicked 1 and then hung up.

Recorded message from *visa and MasterCard security centre* about my recent purchase. Nice try, scammers.

Caller: EBay apparently

Phone call went to a message about whether I placed an order, I pressed 1 for no and then got put through to an Indian call centre staff member who advised that my eBay account had been compromised and that an order for $290 was placed. I advised this was not me. They wanted to talk me through securing my account; I said no and got off the call.
Suspected scam!

Called me, no message was left. Did research on ReverseAustralia, says Sorry, no results were found.

I tried calling back the number and the message says "we regret that we are unable to connect this call, please try again later" I think that was from a telco but there was no mention of a name. Suggest not answering. I figure they will call again if it is legitimate.
