Caller: Connect or contact One?

Scanmer looking for elderly people. Said he had a special offer for the over 50's. He hung up when i said i wasnt over 50.

Unsolicited call which I DID NOT answer. Now, after reading the comments here, I have blocked this number.

Caller: Girl calling from "Inside Australia"

Where do they get the numbers from? Trying to get info with "survey." I said she did not sound like she was inside Australia. I asked for her name and said I wanted to make money from her too. She was making money so I want to make money - win, win. Would not let her get a word in. I asked for ABN of "Inside Australia" so I could invoice them for my time. I want money, show me the money. She said no ABN because "Inside Australia" is the company name and she was in the Manilla office. I persisted with asking to make money from her. She gave up and hung up. Luv it. Added to the scam call list. It is getting sooooo long.

Call said it was coming from South Australia but had a Western Australia area code. Reading the comments here I’d say scam

When I have a strange number that calls I never answer straightaway l. I always take a breath and wait for about four seconds and most numbers hang up. This is usually a computer system that detects voices and then hands over to someone to answer. I recommend everybody tries this to be honest. If the computer system thinks there's nobody there to answer they probably won't call you again.

Female Indian voice claimed to be doing market research needs details, phone shows call originating from Adelaide.

Called and said they were running a survey on Australian Economics. Proceeded to ask personal finance questions. Avoid this number!

Said I had won a years free subscription to a discount club. He just needed "a few details" from me. That's when I hung up!
