Just answered the call. The person introduced himself as representing Virgin Money. He made it very clear that he didn't want to sell anything. Confirmed if I had insurance and income protection. Said yes and maybe accordingly. After that he thanked me for my time. Maybe they just wanted to verify if my mobile number was active/valid.

I did an online survey, yes very stupid of me, now once or twice a month I get these phone calls. Always a different number but always wanting to sell me something. I answer when I can and tell them I'm not interested and to 'lose' my number! They don't ring back... But as sure as the sun comes up... Within a month I will get one from a similar but different number. Sometimes same state sometimes a different state. Very annoying but as has been said before is once you block one number they move to another. I've had them ask about Internet (NBN) and life insurance.

I stupidly filled out an application to be one of those mystery shopper as I am low on money and they were "apparently" giving away gift vouchers. I ticked no to all of the bonus's which included doing surveys for insurance lines. However ever since I completed it, I received numerous scam phone calls. The whole "mystery shopper" just seems like a scam. They are always calling from a different company. Once they were giving me a free holiday.. yeah right. They call multiple times a day at ridiculous times, even though I never answer. What happens if it actually did happen to me an important phone call and we don't pick up because of these wankers.

Stupidly filled in a questinnaire online to get an I Phone. Must have been tired or something. Stupid thing to do, now I have 10 different phone numbers from different states of Australia calling me. Haven't answered any of them.

I have had several and repeated calls from this number. If answered there is usually no-one on the other end. One time I answered and a man with an Australian accent asked "Am I speaking with (my name)?" I said yes and then he hung up.

I get this number as well. I want to put a block on this number so will have to figure how to do it. I don't want to block everything else, or maybe I should!!
