Same happened to me today

Amazon scammers.

I called them up multiple times but just let the line go silent. It's a great way to burn through their credit; and also waste their time.

Seems like the phone number does a redirect...

But anyway; just let the line go silent to make them more frustrated...

I got the same yesterday.

Message received advising re order and that I had paid $2199.99 for a camera and to call if an issue. Scam and I did not call from my mobile.

Caller: 0435 369 377

I received the same hoax

Received the same message as others regarding purchase of camera. The message came from 0401 412 169 but the helpline number in the message was (08) 7200 0751. Checked my bank account details to make sure that no money was missing. Won't call them.

Received SMS today - Confirmation: Payment $2199.99 for Canon EOS R6 HD Camera successful... etc. etc. Mobile number used 0432 883 496

Received a message from the above number claiming I had paid $2199.99 on amazon for a Canon EOS camera. I have never purchased this from Amazon. Its a scam

Received a text from a mobile with this number as the Amazon helpline saying Payment A$2199.99 for Canon EOS R6 Camera successful, AMAZ0N#99621432. didn't call Definitely a scam!

Yet another example of this scam, this time from 0431 303 997

same spammer messaged me...IT makes me angry that there is no recourse for the intrusion into my space making me wonder if i had been hacked.Is there a way to make the perpetrators of this uncomfortable?

It's obvious scam..same as most of people here, saying I bought Canon bla..bla..bla

Caller: SCAM

Received SMS "Confirmation: Payment A$2199.99 for Canon EOS R6 Camera successful, AMAZ0N#01915170WT7. Call us on (08) 7200 0751 For dispute."

Have not called as likely to be charge by minute scam.

Scam SMS received from 0403 597 438 saying:

Confirmation: Payment A$2199.99 for Canon EOS R6 Camera successful, AMAZON# 71817120GB5. Call us on (08) 7200 0751 For dispute.

Scam about an Amazon purchase. Do not call them back and never, ever provide them with a credit card or any personal details.

Message: “ Dear Customer Amt. A¤2299.99 for MacBook Pro (33cm) M1 successful, AMAZ0N#064157428TDX. Call us on (08) 7200 0751 for dispute.”
