I really am getting sick of these scam phonecalls do they really think we are stupid? Wish someone would nuke them out of existence

I received a call from (08) 7160 3420 claimed that I have car accident this year or maybe last year. I told her I do not drive and I don't have a car accident. she said maybe your family member had car accident. I told her no.

Caller: Sam Wilson from Motor Accident Traffic Lawyers (NOT)

A fellow calling himself Sam Wilson with an Indian accent and a lot of background noise wanted to talk to me about a non existent car accident. He referred to a proper website for a law firm. Thought I'd drill him to find out how much he knew, but it seemed to just be my home landline number and my sons name. Happily gave me his number for a return call which of course goes to a full mailbox for another number, I was hoping to fill up his time in return.I notified the law firm that a scammer is using their website as a reference. Nuisance call which is now blocked.

yep, it's a scam. asked about my recent accident. didn't have one so hang up on them immediately

I answered a call from this number (08) 7160 3420 on two occasions, they hang up !! Just block the number & never ring it back.... google it first to see any other complaints, obviously a scam.

called both my personal and work mobile numbers for an accident I didn't have. answer them..

second day in a row they have rung - very annoying.
my phone shows suspected scammer so I haven't answered either time.

Never answer call from unknown number. Block immediately. Like this one. If they are legit, they will leave a voicemail.

Naive

Called me by my first name and last name and said this is an information call about the accident that I had 2 years ago. I never had an accident 2 years ago - actually never. I used to get these calls about 2 years ago and I blocked their number on my phone way back then, now they are calling again from this number. I don't know how they know my name or keep calling me but it is annoying.

I declined the call. They didn’t leave voicemail..

Same as above. not happy

Had my name and apparently also a car accident in last 2 years. Scam. How do these scammers get both my name and phone number. Blocked.

I have had a couple of different calls, some from an unknown number and some from this number regarding a car accident, and the claims.
(Neither of which i have been involved with)

They have my name and number in regards to a car accident. Bogus!
