A recorded voice calling them self Pete or Peter or Paul (Aussie accent) saying that one of my family member’s had been in a car accident within the last 12 months and to press one to be put through to their manager. I didn’t press any numbers and it hung up after a few seconds. Clearly a scam but pretty believe-able because it wasn’t your typical foreign call centre type.

A recorded voice saying his name was Peter & to push the number 3 if I or someone in my household had been in a car accident in the last year.

I have just received a phone call from this number saying that either myself or one of my family members was in a car accident in the last 12 months and that we are eligible to compensation. They could not advise me who (which family member) was in the car accident, the registration number details, car details, insurance details, car licence details etc. I told him that the call sounded dodgy and he laughed and said that he would close the matter. What a scam!

Called left no message, called back the line says number not found !

Scam, they are from south aus but use (08) at the beginning so you think its a local call, car accident scam, just hang up.
