It's Chinese msg to try to extort money from Chinese ppl who answer

Same thing here. I've had calls from mobile above (blocked) and then the listed number.(have now blocked)

Caller: Asian Caller - Unwarranted

This number called me yesterday and upon picking up, the caller is speaking in another language other than ENGLISH. To me, my first thoughts were Chinese and this should warrant an investigation since my phone picked it up as an Adelaide number yet I never left my phone number anywhere.

They left a voicemail in Chinese. I blocked the number.

Forget to mention that the recording says my account has been suspended and I need to press 9 for a solution. However, I never had a account with them.

Received a call from (08) 7130 3567 and I was asked by a recording to press 9, which I did. I was then transferred to a Mandarin speaking tourism call center named Xie Cheng. The operator asked me what is my issue. I said I don't know. She asked:"who called you" I replied "Are you scammer?" She then hanged up. A few minutes later, I received another call from 00488870553 with exactly the same recording. In both occasions, when I called back, no one answered my call. Apparently it is a scammer.
