Someone rand me from this number, when I rang back, I was told by the computer voice that the number does not exist. How come?

Just missed a call from this number and when I tried returning it, it says it has been disconnected ?
It is an Adelaide number though, as i live in Adelaide and it came up as a local call.
Will shed some light if I manage to find out who it is !

Rang today, when i answered it hung up.

This number is at it again, don't know why they bother as I can tell it is scammer of sorts as other scammers have been busy over the past few days, Thank goodness I have a monitor on my phone to see what calls coming in and secondly the answering machine takes over after the 4th ring, get's them every time.

No, I just searched for it too, trying to find out if it is legitimate or not. People who know me know to call my mobile, not my landline.

I also had a missed call from this number today, search of Google says it might be a landline number in Adelaide, SA. Anyone know who it is?
