Claimed to be Telstra and that I had downloaded malware. Wanted me to sit at my computer and they would tell me what to type.

Scammer claiming to be telstra. Probably wanted me to download teamviewer so he could take over my computer

Attempted scam call.

Hung up as soon as I picked up the phone.

Long pause after answering, then call was disconnected. Tried calling back, but

ahh was a missed call and I tried to call back (thinking it may be work-related) ... but engaged / no connect ... seems I was lucky to miss the scammers ... I will block this number now

Same as everyone else, claimed I had a car accident. They knew my name and my email address but when I asked he what date the apparent accident occurred she couldn’t tell me.

Answered and they hung up before I could even get a hello sentence out.

She claimed I had an accident but she had no details, just a report to call me. I asked a few questions that she couldn’t answer so I told her to put it in writing to me. I will now block the number

Long delay before it connected, always a sign of an overseas scam, the usual "you had an accident" call. Don't answer.

Yep the old "you had an accident" call. I decided I had a few minutes so I thought I would play. I said that yes, I had an accident... but I have so many accidents she needed to give me the date of this one. Oh, they just had a report. I told her to call me back when she had the date - she sounded confused. And there the call ended.

I am sick off having scam callers.

Missed call from this number tried calling back but kept getting a message saying all lines to this number are busy. I assume it was a scam call.
