Scam. Female computerised voice says from Amazon and talking about an order I did not place.

Person wanted my information to install solar panels. I ended the call, added to mobile contacts and blocked this number and reported the number to ACCC Scams.

Recorded voice said from Amazon and to pay money, scam

Said they were calling from PayPal about suspicious transactions. They hung up when I asked how could I know they were actually calling from PayPal

Claiming to be Telstra offering me 50% off current plan. Kept mentioning my phone and asking what I thought about the service. My phone is with Optus. What bothered me was they knew my name.

Caller: scammer

Claimed to be from "cybercrime unit of Australian Federal Police". That's a new, and dangerously brave, call for a scammer. I'll report it but doubt anything will be done.

Not answered. They did not leave a message.

I didn’t answer the call and they didn’t leave a message. I’m in Victoria and don’t know why anyone in South Australia would be calling me.

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

A woman with a thick accent claiming to be from Telstra called at 6.20pm. I asked for whom she was calling and she couldn’t tell me, whereas a Telstra employee would have access to my name. The woman also kept calling me “maam”, which is insulting … I never asked Telstra to call me ma’am.

Hung up when I answered. How come this number is still being used when there are so many complaints?

Called but hung up as soon as I answered. Tried to call back but got very odd 'engaged' signal (I can only guess that is what it was). Based upon other reviews have blocked.
