I think this number is a scam. A male with a thick Indian accent called me asking about my $800 money transfer to the USA. I said I didn’t make that transfer and I don’t know anybody over there anyway. He then said I was a racist and the Police are on their way to my house. It’s been two hours now and still no cops, which makes me think it’s a scam. I hope I’m not arrested over this.

After reading some these messages from 2022 it would seem that number is active again and I'm glad I didn't answer that call. My phone advised Suspected Scam and no voicemail was left.

Man with a thick Indian accent who knew my full name tried to tell me me someone had used my PayPal. Except the email he gave me wasn’t connected to my paypal. He then tried to tell me my apple account had been hacked instead, except my apple account isn’t connected. He was not happy when I explained that to him.

Definitely a scam, indian male says my mobile number is with Telstra, I said yes, whats the matter (where my mobile isn’t from Tesltra) and he said there are discount points for my mobile. Hung up on him.

Don't be concerned. It's just a low life trying to scare you into paying money.

Claimed to be Telstra Cyber Security, detected a security problem with my internet. I knew what was coming and played along; hung up on him after the inevitable "are you sitting at your computer right now?".

Scam, they hung up pretty quick I was awaiting a call otherwise wouldn’t have even picked up scam call. They hung up pretty quick

An Indian lady called saying my nbn has issues. she asked me to go to play store or app store in my phone. I told her my phone is very old I have none of those. She said you are wasting my time..lol. Then I asked how much money you want, she just hung up.

This number is continuously calling. I let it go to VM but no msg left. Definitely a scammer.

Indian accent male claimed that my account was to be deducted $79.00aud for Amazon Prime 3 month subscription. I asked how come because Amazon prime is only 6.99/month (no idea on actual cost/month). Told me my IP address was used in California to create the account and I've been hacked so I needed to enter a url to verify. Told him it didn't work. He asked what I typed in. I replied "scammers" he then hung up.
