Caller: Scam using multiple companies

Block this yet more pathetic dross. Pretends to be Amazon one day, Telstra the next, some Energy thing the next. We are letting our network become one of the most useless and fraudster infested in the world. If the telco's had to credit you $1 for every fraud call you receive on their service (that you are paying for), it would be fixed in a week. Not saying its their fault, just saying the technology and motivation would suddenly materialise.

Got this call but missed it googled the number and found this page, assumed it was a scammer

Constant missed calls from this number which I do not answer. From reading previous comments I am sure this is either a prerecorded "authorize this payment for Amazon" or actual caller trying to get personal information from me whilst claiming to be the Commonwealth Bank. The alarming thing is that they knew my first name.

Caller: Local Telstra shop

Indian man said he was from Telstra (Local Telstra Shop). Said there was an issue with IP address and needs to be switched to private. Quite aggressive when I said my internet is fine. I told him I'd call my local Telstra shop when I got home. He hung up on me.

Pretended to be from master/visa and said that a $300 transaction to a ANZ account happened and if I should auth it. As soon as they told me to go to google to stop it I hung up

Caller: He said he was Telstra (in Adelaide or India or somewhere)

Indian guy said he was calling from Telstra. The call came from Adelaide. I said "I'm in Victoria, get a Victorian Telstra tech to do a home visit to fix the issue, don't expect a paying customer like me to fix it for you". He let out a barrage of F words and I couldn't hang up any faster.

Called but did not leave a message. Within 30 minutes another call from another similar number, again no message left.

Claimed to be from Amazon and my card had been used just hung up and blocked

Caller: Claimed to be eBay

Claimed that a $499 voucher had been bought from my eBay account. Clearly scammers with their lack of knowledge. Even tried passing me onto a second person claiming to be from the accounts department.

Said they calling from some security company saying my email address and phone number was hacked my someone in a America

Called here at 7:53am, first hint that it's a likely scammer. No message left on machine. Sure looks like a scammer from other comments here.

Caller: Claimed to be paypal

Said my ac had $999 charged to it by unknown person.... i dont have paypal ac

Called them back but it was immediate disconnect/hangup. Definitely a scam.

Had call from this number and when I rang back couldn't even get to ring through. Tried from 2 land lines and 2 mobiles, so guessing is scam!

Caller: Scam Amazon

I answer call providing no name, Indian guy in a call centre starts about an Amazon order for an iPhone 11 and if I want to continue the order. Interrupted the scammer and told to not call again.
