After a several second silent period on answering, Scammer with Indian accent purporting to be from Telstra advising my public access internet had been compromised and asking if I had made changes to my account recently.
Immediately detected was a scammer.
Advised I would discuss this in a Telstra store and was told ‘talk to me you piece of sh*t!’
My response ‘you want to talk about you being a piece of sh*t?’
The caller hung up without further pleasantries.
Never give up any info over the phone.
If you have doubts, go into a reputable store.
