I phoned TAFESA regarding a course I applied for and hung up, it was a 1800-number, About an hour later I receive a call from (08) 7087 0007 which I ignored as I’ve received a few scam calls from similar numbers. The second it stopped ringing I received two messages, one to say I’ve missed a call from 7087 0007, and one from TAFESA asking to call back on the 1800 number regarding my application. Could be a complete coincidence that TAFESA sent a message exactly when the missed call message appeared, but if anyone else has applied for a TAFESA course or similar, perhaps this phone number is affiliated with TAFESA. Otherwise most likely a scam call.
