Caller: Scam

Someone from India who insisted they were calling from 9 King William Street despite me saying they weren’t. They didn’t know what the local paper was called or the premiers name or the local footy team and was reading from a script. I also asked what level they were on (knowing it’s a multi story building) and she said 23. Wtf. It’s not even that tall haha. Anyway apparently I was in a car accident but she was going to help me get compensation if I gave her my details. When I asked for details of the accident she didn’t have a date or a location (other than in the state of South Australia) and couldn’t tell me if I was the driver or the passenger. Wow. I could run a better scan myself. Was actually quite amusing trying to get her off script and hearing her fumble over basic questions that legitimate insurance company would know the answers to before calling me. I’m actually looking forward to the next call

OMG Yes this was also a lady claiming she got my number because I was in a car accident. But she doesn't know when or any details just has my number and my name!!! I egged her on for a bit telling her it was all abit hazy and i couldn't remeber any details or the other persons name. She asked if there were any family members around me who she could talk to and i said no she then asked to call her back when i remember something and i asked if it was on the number she was calling and she said yes to which i replied what number is that- she stumbled and i said is it 1800 go f%#@k yourself and she hung up. So rude- I felt like we were just connecting .............
