After ringing back the number, an American answered the phone and proceeded to tell me I had been qualified for a free upgrade. He ran through all the details, gave me a website to log onto explore321.com and talked me through the "holiday". They want you to participate in a 90 minute resort tour for Exploria Resorts, and in exchange will sell you a 7 day 6 night holiday for 4 people near Disney land for $898.00 with 18 months to use the voucher and 60 days advance booking notice required. I didn't like having to leave my details to "qualify" so I bailed out.

Rang my mobile and said I had been lucky and won a holiday voucher worth $3000, which was from a survey I had answered 3 years ago!! A 7 day accommodation holiday to Summer Bay Orlando for up to 4 people, plus 3 nights at Daytona Beach, 3 day cruise to the Bahamas and 7 day hire car. The usual cost was $3590 US, and all I had to do was pay $737 Aust to qualify and be verified. The $737 Aust dollars was to be paid now and asked for my credit card details, which I said I would NOT provide unless I could check out on the internet when I got home. Dolores gave me the internet site named Explore321.com and also advised all I had to do at the Orlando Resort was attend a 90 minute tour of the resort so we could tell all our friends back in Tasmania about the experience. We would have to pay our airfares. I still re-iterated I was NOT giving them my card details so she put me on hold and a guy picked up from where she left off, still trying to obtain my card details, and when I continued to say NO he became very aggressive, rude and real pushy, and when I asked for another number I could ring him back on he would not provide that contact number. So I hung up!! Dolores called me from (08) 7078 3676, which I rang straight away and of course no answer, nothing.......Dolores also provided the so called Travel Agency number, a local Sydney number which was auto directed to Orlando Resort...(02) 8015 5036....I rang that number, reached a guy saying he was from VIP Services I believe, and relayed the exact itinerary detail that Dolores provided. Pretty sure now it was a SCAM, got home and did some searching and could not find anything of substance for Explore321.com, and then came across this site which confirms it was a SCAM...BUGGERS. Anyways, many thanks to everyone who provided reviews and comments on this site...saved me from thinking about it too much and saved me the money ...appreciated the heads up from everyone. Bye for now, Mike.

Spam call, probably for a time-share sales group.

Thx for your all your warnings, was buttered up by a lovely lady, then passed on to male whom I asked if he wanted my cc details and he said no. I again asked him and he said later I will ask for it. I asked when later, today or in the future or in this conversation, he said later in this conversation. LIE??? That's when I lost trust and hung up.

a text message was sent from 0437 913 547 to my mobile. However I called from a different number to investigate this $3000 travel vouchers with a confirmation code AU9.CO. Hard to stop these guys from sleazy marketing. I don't give my mobile number until I am sure about the privacy aspects. Some company must have violated the rules.

30 mins wait contacted by aaron, after a lot of explaining that I had won $3000 travel with explore321 I said I would not be travelling overseas. He then told me it could be transferable and asked what kind of credit card had, I said I didn't use one as any online shopping was done through my family. That was when he hung up. Some of us actually use cash !!

Definitely a scam, no such thing as a free lunch, pushy and I ended up hanging up the phone when the call taker insisted I log into the website to be given my membership number.
