Scam call, saying I was in a car accident and was due for 3rd Party Compensation. Firstly I haven't been in a car accident. Secondly if I was 3rd Party Compensation would have know when the accident was. Clearly a SCAM.

Caller: Purporting to be Australian Claims Helpline

Indian guy (Peter) called about accident. Had my name number and email. BLOCK!!!!

Caller: Some MVA claim

Indian sounding woman quite pushy, taking about 3rd party claim MVA. Haven’t been in any accidents. Asked me if any relatives had been in accidents. I said no and woman got quite pushy so I hung upIf you ring back the number (08) 7070 4124 it says it isn’t connected. Obviously a scam, report it

Hangs up when I answer then when you call back on that number it says the number is incomplete. WTF???
How do these scammers get a phone number to show up on your screen but it's supposedly not a proper number??

I called back the number and was advised this number is not connected. They didn't even leave a message on my voice mail.

Not being racist but an Indian sounding person with the name something like Bill Smith said following up with car accident in last 2 years. I said is this a scam they said no , but then started to see if a relative maybe had accident. None I knew of so hung up after saying bye! Sounds like they were fishing for something?

They called, was silent for 3 seconds and hung up.
