I called the number back but was advised that the number is disconnected. Obviously someone wanting to sell me something.

I called back number (08) 6795 9802 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Caller: Energy bill scam

Wanting to offer me a discount on my energy bill if I do a comparison

Hangs up within seconds of me answering the phone

Asked for Lance Smith. Then hung up.

Scam - offering 40% discount, asked for the agents name, refused to tell me, threatened to go to my supplier and say I am not paying my bill (when I am).
Again asked for the agents name, nothing given and hung up on me.

So far, this number has called me twice today. When I answer, the call disconnects. Perhaps it is a computerised call with no "caller" at the other end (??). Can't imagine why they ring in the first place. They call my mobile, so they can't be testing to see if the house is vacant.

Had my full name and said that they wanted to talk to me about a power bill. I do not have my name on ANY power bill and never have. They hung up immediately upon hearing this. Very likely a scam.

Offering a "discount" on my gas bill. Say that they are not a sales call, but they are a sales call. avoid.

I got call from (08) 6795 9802 and I did not answer the phone . I search for this website, based on the other 2 persons' experiences , I did not need to call back.

I got this type of calls everyday. I normally not answer those phones if I do not know who they are.

Claims they're from a power company who do free comparison on your power bill. They said i was on their system because I have a power bill under my name which i don't!

Got call from this number and they were trying to get me to send them a photo of my gas bill, i called the gas company and they said they would never phone someone and ask for that, they have all records on file and would only ever mail if contact was needed.

Its probably scammers checking to see if your number is active. When you call back, you get played the prerecorded "number disconnected" message, but they have just confirmed your phone number is still actively used.

Googling this number comes up as FedEx ... then calling back comes up as disconnected
