insurance scam

No one spoke when I answered. Waited 10secs and I hung up and blocked it

I was involved in a car accident and did I know that I could be entitled to compensation... Good onya darlin'...
Got my name and details from a database.
Couldn't tell me where these details on the database came from and she was just following up on my claim.
I never made a claim and shouldn't my insurance compan y be following that up.

Apparently I was involved in a motor vehicle accident.....

Pretending to from Telstra etc etc

Rang my mobile, knew my name, claimed to be calling me regarding a 'not at fault' Motor Vehicle Accident I had apparently been involved in. Extremely apologetic for the inconvenience when I told her I had not been in any car accident, assured me my details would be removed from the database and very quickly hung up! Scam.

Accident scam - they call from various 08 numbers & sometimes silent numbers, men & women have called me insisting I have been in a car accident recently... FFS they really think people will fall for that???

Apparantly first responders about being involved in a car accident, which I was back in November it’s the 2nd Call I have had regarding that. Supposidely they going to update details so I’m not bothered againz

They somehow know your name and then make out you have been in a car accident. Heard about these people, BIG scammers. It’s also the same female voice who tried it a while ago from a different number. She has an English voice too
